A Visit to the Futbol Cathedral

By Christopher C. Ado

I am siting in my bed with sore legs from walking from one metro to the next, eating ALOT of sweets and Baguettes, and now it is time to recap Day 1 of my Free Man in Barcelona trip. The metro here in Barcelona is very easy to use. For those  familiar to riding trains in Europe it will be breeze but just prepare to walk. Case in point, my itinerary from day one was visiting the Camp Nou Experience the home of FC Barcelona. No matter how tired I was from my flight from LAX to Barcelona I was going to the Nou Camp. From my hotel I would make two transfers with the main transfer at the Placa de Catalunya where you take another train to Maria Cristina. Now I thought when I got to the last station it will be an easy walk. FAIL! It was 4 blocks down and the stadium is huge. Enjoy the pictures of the Nou Camp Experience. Tomorrow I will be putting away the Sports and replace it with history as the itinerary sees me visiting Barcelona Cathedral, Gothic Quarter, Port Olympic, Montjuic, Picasso Museum, an of course La Sagrada Familia
